Cette nature morte est peinte à l'huile sur cuivre. Ce support à régulièrement été utilisé dans l'histoire de la peinture à l'huile, il permet d'avoir une grande précision de la touche et une grande stabilité dans le temps. C' est un support que j’affectionne particulièrement.

Avant de peindre, j'élabore les scènes de mes natures mortes ainsi que les objets qui y figurent (ici le pichet) à l'aide du logiciel 3D Blender. Je peux ainsi peindre d'après le rendu photo-réaliste du logiciel. Les fruits part contre sont peints d'après des fruits réels.
