Muriel MATT was born in 1976 in Rennes and lives in Nantes. It is probably because she held a pastel before she could walk that she produced a work so deeply inscribed in the world of childhood.
This style made of naive graphics animated by an explosion of colors which pushes to its very last limits the capacities of expression of acrylic, surprises by its capacity to arouse diverse and changing interpretations.
At the crossroads of various styles -tribal art, street art, pop art-, neither abstract nor figurative, these unclassifiable paintings attract and accompany all those who are of no school and no standard, those who simply think, beyond any code and any convention, that life in color is the secret of happiness!
