I met my first artistic love in my teens on a manga & anime forum. He was a professional artist and creator who tried this new style. But he had a distinct style and vision of his own, which I loved dearly. He was a great influence on me overall. I was especially fascinated by his series about a made-up tribe. Those indigenous people looked somewhat like a mixture of “The Predator” and “Avatar”, but more human-like, and still non-human. They had their hierarchy, their leadership, their romance, their conflicts. Their design was sharp and elegant, one of the best pieces of graphics I have ever witnessed. One day my beloved artist deleted his account and all his artworks… I was heartbroken, but didn’t realise how deeply I was influenced by him until many years later I started doodling… and this gentle girl appeared. Her expression was full of warmth and kindness similar to those I felt towards the mysterious tribe living in the wilderness. The colours showed a spectrum of feelings I had for her: from sadness and nostalgia to surprise and happiness.

The drawing is a regular A3 size (29.7 * 42 cm).
The work is very detailed and of gallery premium quality, high resolution, unframed.
I used water-based markers and liners to create a feeling of silky hair and smooth floral texture.
It's refreshing yet soothing, and would look perfect in a bedroom.

Outsider Art

Invented by Jean Dubuffet (1901-1985) in 1945, the idea is to create works with primitive graphics that take no academic reference into account. He will also advise to "draw like a child" and encourage self-taught artists.

Technic Drawing

Drawing is a technique of visual representation on a flat support. The term "drawing" designates both the action of drawing, the resulting graphic work, and the shape of any object. It is also a representation on a surface of the shape (and possibly the light and shadow values) of an object or figure, rather than their color. There are a large number of drawing techniques: “Linear drawing” represents objects by their outlines, edges and some characteristic lines; beyond this limit, the drawing develops by representing the volume by shadows, often by means of hatching, incorporates colors, and joins, without clear transition, the painting.

An aspiring artist from the heart of Siberia doomed to warm up all my joints every 40-60 minutes due to a genetic condition. A socially awkward extroverted introvert, sexually attracted to music.

I've been drawing and painting for as long as I remember. Mainly horses, dinosaurs and other fantastic beats I imagined. I enjoyed coming up with a backstory for every creature I created: like, where it lived, or how it behaved, what happened to it, or if it had any friends or family. Oftentimes, I wrote those stories by hand on the back of the drawings.

In my teens, when I finally had an Internet access, I came across a manga & anime forum where contemporary artists tried this art style for the first time. I got mesmerised and spent hours looking at their artworks, they looked so fresh, nothing like I've seen before. Then I got into watching anime. At that time, it wasn't as popular and there were no online streaming services, so I had to put some effort to find a series to watch. Surprisingly enough, I didn't want to copy this style, I just liked certain elements to it and the sense freedom of expression. Its creativity blew my mind and influenced me a lot. It was then and there that I met my first artistic love -- a contemporary artist by the pen-name Nonhuman. And it struck me for the first time: you don't have to be dead and part of history to be an artist. I realised I could very well become an artist myself.

Although a self-taught artist, I enjoy attending courses, workshops and lessons here and there and will continue doing so to ensure further quality growth. I am open to experimenting, collaborations and willing to try different styles.
