I was born in 1965 in the then federal capital of Bonn and spent my childhood and youth in the Ruhr area. My enthusiasm for artistic design and painting developed very early on and I was already able to achieve some successes in painting competitions. As a teenager, I supplemented my pocket money by selling hand-painted brooches and mini canvas prints. I would consider myself artistic knowledge and know-how

Autodidact, I learned the techniques in numerous painting courses.

For about 15 years I have been painting acrylic paintings on canvas as a part-time job, mainly commissioned work, but also motifs that inspire me. I enjoy incorporating current global political issues into the seemingly inappropriate framework of the colorful neon street-art-style pictures and the viewer to stimulate thought.
