The artwork portrays an old carpet with the word "Perspectiva" spray-painted onto it using a can of paint. This act of vandalism challenges the conventional notion that perspective is confined to the traditional and familiar. Instead, it suggests that perspective lies in something new and underground, breaking free from established norms. The juxtaposition of the aged carpet and the contemporary act of graffiti emphasizes the contrast between the conventional and the emerging, illustrating the concept of evolution and the need for unconventional perspectives to challenge the status quo. This artwork invites viewers to contemplate the dynamic nature of perspective and encourages them to explore new dimensions in their perceptions and interpretations of the world around them.

As an artist from Ukraine, my journey with art has been a lifelong affair, a passion that ignited during my very childhood. Today, I find myself immersed in the realm of creativity, pursuing higher knowledge and skills at the Academy of Arts. Engaging with fellow artists, curators, and cultural scholars is an absolute delight, as I delve into captivating conversations about the multifaceted world of art. In these exchanges, I explore the intricate depths of artistic expression and celebrate the enigmatic nature of those who wield the painter's brush and sculptor's chisel – those extraordinary souls we call artists. During the war in my country, it was not easy for me and many artists. Not only, because of the direct consequences of the war, it also affected the creative process. It was difficult for me to continue looking for something beautiful and show it to people because all around is pain. Now I try not to forget all the terrible events and turn my anger and frustration into something that will never go away - art.
