Après six mois aux beaux arts de Toulouse, il a travaillé en autodidacte. Après avoir potassé pas mal de manuels, parlé à de nombreux peintres, regarder inlassablement les maîtres anciens, et travailler, toujours travailler il a commencé à comprendre leur état d'esprit et leurs manières de peindre. Toujours admiratif, cela ne l’empêche pas d'apprécier l'art actuel.
Il fait du dessin en petit et moyen format et les grands tableaux en grand format.
Nature morte paysage ou architecture urbaine sont ses thèmes de prédilection en dessin . Il utilise le stylo , la pointe d'argent, la sanguine et le pastel qui peuvent co-habiter dans un même dessin.
D"un autre côté, il fait de grands tableaux à l'huile et à l'acrylique, qui mêlent la typographie, le bas relief et la peinture.
