We are the Mandalakorn family from Ukraine (Odessa). Mandala is the main, basic form for our paintings. “Korn” is not only the roots that we refer to when creating our works, but also the initial letters of our surname.
Our family has traveled a lot around the world. We had the opportunity to live in India, Thailand, Indonesia and many other countries.
Our mandalas differ significantly from classical Hindu mandalas, both in the technique of execution and in the formation of their meaning. Therefore, you should not look for perfect symmetry or inscriptions in ancient Sanskrit in them.
Each of our paintings is created in a spiritual flow. This state is similar to meditation and is somewhat reminiscent of a shamanic trance. We enter this state without using any substances that alter consciousness. Also, we adhere to a healthy lifestyle and convey this health to other people through our works...
The principle of “purity of consciousness and body” is very important for the correct formation and creation of mandalas.
Our works are influenced by the work of Svyatoslav Roerich. Since we also lived for many years among the mountain peaks, we were inspired to depict them in our creativity.
Many paintings contain mysterious codes and signs. Since they were written in a state of trance, we call them cosmic signs of goodness. In some works, we use the cosmic constellations that surround us. Their arrangement around the mandalas is due to their deep relationship with each other.
We exhibited our work in different countries, participated in ceremonies and handed over mandalas to decorate temple altars.
There are three people in our family: the father of the family - Anatoly, his wife Galina and their son Anton.
