Going off the path, we enter the forest. Or at least we try to. Because sometimes the trees and their branches defend the entrance to it. Why? I don't know. Maybe because only its inhabitants can enter it. They can, because they can find paths hidden in the grasses. They also know how to get around obstacles. They know because they know the forest.[...]
Going off the path, we enter the forest. Or at least we try to. Because sometimes the trees and their branches defend the entrance to it. Why? I don't know. Maybe because only its inhabitants can enter it. They can, because they can find paths hidden in the grasses. They also know how to get around obstacles. They know because they know the forest. The forest also knows them and protects them from outside intruders. That's why sometimes a trip to a suburban forest is like a trip to an exotic wilderness. All you have to do is get off the path. Or at least try to.
