dragonfly is a symbol of immortality and rebirth. She is the messenger of the world of the dead, personifies the brevity and beauty of human life and is a symbol of the salvation of the soul. The image of a dragonfly in oriental painting symbolized the approach of a warm wind and good news. Dragonfly is the best friend and adviser of all unmarried girls. The Chinese consider the dragonfly to be the savior of families. The Japanese are sure that the dragonfly endows those living in the house with happiness and inner strength.
When creating this masterpiece, I worked on an art board made of wood with a stretcher, 60x80 in size. I used materials such as gypsum, acrylic, potal, texture paste, glass chips, varnish, epoxy. resin. There is a video on my YouTube channel that will help you get to know my painting better.

All my life I have lived in Siberia, near Lake Baikal. And today all my work is permeated with its unique contrasts. When I create my next art, I plunge into it with my head, as if into the waters of Lake Baikal, fixing every step taken.

This process simultaneously energizes me and relaxes me. Art helps me express myself when words are not enough. With it, I explore myself, my feelings and emotions. I would say that the purpose of my inner journey is to unravel the mystery of being.

In my search, I explore nature in all its aspects from the plant world to man, using environmentally friendly materials for this: clay, gypsum, acrylic and fabric.
