Dieses einzigartige Bild in der Größe 150cm x 120cm mit 2400 gebrauchten Kronkorken, die mit einer speziellen Technik auf die beidseitig weiß beschichtete Alu Dibond Platte (3mm) angebracht wurden, stellt den Sänger und Schauspieler David Bowie dar. In seiner annähernd 50 Jahre dauernden Karriere war Bowie mit 26 Studioalben und mit rund 140 Millionen verkauften Tonträgern einer der einflussreichsten Musiker der Rock- und Popmusik dar.
Das Werk hat ein Gewicht von ca. 5 Kilo und zum Anbringen angebrachte Aufhangschienen oberen Bereich des Bildes (rückseitig). Das Kunstwerk ist nicht gerahmt, kann aber direkt aufgehangen werden.

Collages

Collage is an artistic creation technique that consists of making a plastic creation by combining elements of various kinds: more or less flat materials, such as printed oilcloth, painting or drawing, newspaper extracts with text and photos, paper paintings, documents, various objects of low relief, etc. When the creation incorporates elements in relief, one can also speak of assemblage. This also includes glued papers, which employ a variety of papers, including newspaper, and drawing techniques.

Henning Leuschner was born in Sauerland in 1968 and now lives in Cologne. In addition to his work as a freelance artist, the trained social worker has been working as a department head in the youth welfare[...]

Since beginning his artistic activity in 2013, his artistic work has included portraits, still lifes, landscapes and city impressions made from used as well as new crown caps. As a passionate music lover and world traveler, he finds his inspiration at concerts/music festivals and when travelling. As an upcycling artist, his works are characterized by the urge to combine art and life in a sustainable way. Henning Leuschner emphatically describes his bottle cap art as a human cultural product and the result of a creative drinking process - analog art in a digital age. The starting point of every work of art is an intensive encounter with life events, which the artist internalizes and for which he creates a huge collection of motifs consisting of thousands of bottle caps. These seamlessly combined result in a unique work of art with a state of perfection and complete harmony. The works of Henning Leuschner do not require any theoretical support. The overwhelming presence of the artworks does not ask about school or concept. They grab the viewer and leave a lasting impression. Changes in light and perspective always lead to new perceptions. Each of his works of art completes a journey that culminates in a single scene.
