La Perle du Lac, the pearl of the lake is the first painting since my professional carrier that is based on a fotographie that i took in Geneve. The part of the bay is called la perle du lac and in that night my wings were broken and repaired. I did the most crazy and ridicilious journey in the name of love and was smashed for doing so. While standing shaky at the water i suddenly see the swan, drifting perfectly symmetrical between the docks. The swan helped me to gather together myself and stand up and leave this place with a straight back and self-respect. I had done something in the name of love that everyone would laugh and cry about, but what exactly noone needs to know. The question is how far will you go for the person you love? Are you ready to leave your comfort zone and something told you to do, but you know it might be the only way and therefore you go into an adventure.

Well, a pearl is created out of a simple sand corn trapped in a shell and by the movement of the water it becomes a quite magical pearl, outstandingly beautiful like the swan, moving in the name of love.

Acrylic
