Hélène Dourliand was born in Trappes in the Yvelines in 1979. Not destined to become a photographer, her professional life changed in 2013. Following a photo competition, she was spotted by a magazine that offered her to become a freelancer.
At the same time, Hélène realizes that she wants to be useful to her neighbour, to help wounded women, who have broken with their image, to regain self-confidence and what better than photography. Self-taught, she launched her own vision of Boudoir photography by bringing a "photo-therapy" nuance to her activity.
Endowed with hypersensitivity, she is able to feel distress and thus find the reassuring words to restore confidence to her client of the day.
Success is there, the press talks about its approach, its ease in highlighting all women, of all morphologies. Following this, Éditions Eyrolles offered him to sign in 2020 his first book intended for the general public “Les secrets de la photo de boudoir” marketed since March 4, 2021.
Today she is a renowned photographer in this field. After 8 years of activity around Boudoir photography, Hélène has another desire and will probably be talked about in a while.
At the end of 2021, passionate about the Arts and always in search of new images, Hélène Dourliand decided to appropriate a very controversial art, that of Shibari. Mixing her sensitivity, her work on women's bodies and her technique, she offers sensual, aesthetic and sometimes graphic images. The ropes become ornaments and sublimate the bodies.
An atypical journey for an artist on edge in perpetual search for images to sublimate women.
Over the months, she will present you her best images in the field of nude, Boudoir, portrait and Shibari photography.
