Muto, whose real name is Dario Siragusa, is a photographer who considers photography as an engraving made by light, a capture of the art of nature. For him, photography goes beyond the simple reproduction of reality, it is a reflection of his experiences, his environment and his deep love for everything that surrounds him, whether it is poetry, people or cultural projects.
His eye is constantly inspired by those around him, which gives his works an unexpected and unique look. Each photograph is the result of capturing an ephemeral light, a fleeting shadow, a precious moment. Muto sees photography as a declaration of love for the subject he captures, because for him, to photograph is to love.
His exhibitions reflect the empathy that drives him every day. He feels deeply the emotions of others, whether positive or negative, and he shares this emotional whirlwind through his exhibitions. For Muto, exhibiting his works is to remind those who look at them that they are never alone, that they are all connected by attention and empathy towards others.
Muto explores through his photography our tendency towards self-censorship and our difficulty in being fully ourselves. His photos are an invitation to reflect on our own existence and our relationship to the world around us.
