It was at the School of Plastic Art in her town that she met her teachers, former students of Fine Arts, who introduced her and trained her in drawing, painting, sculpture.
She discovered the monotype technique on the School's imposing engraving press.
She was immediately fascinated by the intensity of the blacks, the absences, the finesse of the lines,
and this exhilarating moment of encounter with the work after its revelation on the sheet of paper.
She acquired the basics but also a spiritual vision, to develop her own artistic intimacy through the representation of the body.
She left her profession to devote full time to her artistic passion, the monotype print.

In 2019, she received the Espoir Prize from Miroir de l'Art Magazine during the Bellaz'art Bastille Design Center Salon in Paris
She participates in numerous fairs including Figuration Critique
In 2021, she exhibits at the Capazza Gallery during the thematic exhibition “Enfances”
and is currently exhibiting among the artists of the Pandem' Gallery Art.

Technique

The monotype is a print, it is a printing process without engraving which produces a single print, with great textural quality, unique and precious.< br />She works on a smooth metal plate.
She particularly appreciates engraving inks for their malleability to heat, their durability, thick or melted, their fineness of line, their transparency, the intensity of the colors .
Loving the pleasure of the gesture on the plate, removing, scratching, adding, materials and drawing, smoothing, tracing, digging into the thickness of the ink, she gradually lets her soul appear in the furrows of 'an imprint.
It favors the stains, the imperfections essential to its creation.

The metal plate is then placed on an engraving press and covered with a sheet of damp paper.
The final step: revealing the work on paper using its press produces a single print, unique and precious
The ink remaining on the plate is insufficient to make another print.
br />Each print is unique

Artistic approach

In a standardized, structured, timed society, she wants to express this precarious humanity present in each of us, to find a language without a universal word and timeless.

A work on the representation of the body between appearance and disappearance.

The particularity of the monotype print, its preparation limited in time and its choice not to retouch the final impression promotes the intensity of the work and allows it to lower the barriers of the mind to draw out this surreptitious or furtive emotion essential to life.

It is expressed through its human representations to reveal their soul, give them a disturbing presence, an emotion, a reflection to welcome.
