The work, which holds a snake in both hands, was inspired by the figurines of the Minoan civilization that lived in Crete. The idea of holding two snakes in the hand of the work is repeated faithfully to the original work.
The snake symbolizes renewal in the ancient world. The mask on the figure’s face is a snake tooth stylization. The tooth expresses that a power is given to the figure by the snakes. The pose depicts a confident and courageous woman. The expression walking is given to indicate that the character has the power to act.
