Delve into the world of exquisite craftsmanship with our unique wooden sculpture, 'Trophy.' This extraordinary piece was painstakingly created in 2022, in the artistic heart of Kharkiv, Ukraine. 'Trophy' transcends mere art; it embodies the essence of a timeless masterpiece that can be both a prized possession and a cherished gift.
A Fusion of Fine Woods: 'Trophy' harmoniously combines pear, pine, and Red tree woods, each carefully chosen to create a masterpiece in classic style. The flexible texture of pear wood allowed the artist to carve a magnificent shark head, a testament to both skill and dedication. The journey to craft 'Trophy' was not without its challenges, particularly when carving the shark's intricate mouth. However, persistence prevailed, and the figurine found its perfect form.
A Symphony of Woods: The artist's ingenuity led to the combination of pine and mahogany veneer, meticulously laminated to create a stunning composition. The rich tones and textures of these woods blend seamlessly, adding depth and character to the sculpture.
Craftsmanship Beyond Compare: Crafting 'Trophy' required the skilled use of a knife and chisel, with every detail meticulously brought to life through the artist's dedication. To preserve its enduring beauty, 'Trophy' is thoughtfully coated with both semi-matte and matte varnishes, inviting you to explore its every curve and contour.
The Perfect Gift: 'Trophy' is not just a sculpture; it is an embodiment of artistry and a symbol of timeless beauty. Its elegant design and meticulous craftsmanship make it an exquisite gift choice, whether for a special occasion or to express your appreciation and admiration. Whether you're presenting it to an art aficionado or someone with a discerning eye for the exceptional, 'Trophy' promises to be a gift that transcends the ordinary. It's a symbol of your thoughtfulness and a reminder of the beauty that exists in the world of art.

I've been immersed in the art of crafting wooden sculptures for as long as my memory reaches. However, when the storm of war descended upon Ukraine, sculpting became more than a passion; it became my refuge from the stress and relentless barrage of war-related news. It was during this tumultuous period that a revelation struck - I could leave behind the undesired trappings of conventional work and forge a livelihood out of doing what I truly love.
This realization brought about a fundamental shift in my perspective. While my creations had always been crafted with care for friends, family, and those dear to me, the idea of selling my works to a broader audience had never been a priority. Each piece, whether initially intended for a specific person as a talisman or created with a sense of patience, waited years or even decades to find its destined owner.
About half of my works have been brought into existence in the aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, serving as both a testament to resilience and a means of processing the challenging times. Amidst ongoing creation, there are still sculptures in progress, capturing the evolving essence of my artistic journey.
Fortuitously, my art found a platform on Artmajeur, prompting me to join the ranks of artists worldwide. Now, I embark on this global artistic venture, sharing my wooden sculptures with the world, each piece carrying not just my craft but the unique story of survival and creativity born from adversity.
