一只小船被一根绳索系在砾石遍布的暗黑的海滩上。这一刻它孤伶伶的，似乎被人们遗弃了。大海咆哮着，卷起巨浪，似要将它吞噬。此时，海上升起一轮明月，照亮这一切，给予小船光明。阴霾尽散，光明处便是希望，是方向，是小船的源动力。它要挣脱绳索的牵绊，穿越波涛汹涌的大海，奔赴光明。它的生命将因此丰富多彩，充满活力，哪怕是被大海吞噬，它将不会变成遗弃在海滩上的一堆朽木。只要给人类一束光，人类便会生生不息，努力地活下去。月亮就是这样一束黑夜里的光，永远被人类歌颂。每一个人就如作品中的船一样，都是一个孤独的弱小的个体，静伏于自己的角落里。但它只要走出去，去努力，去拼搏，它就会成为主角，活成一部传奇。这副作品来源于一副同题材的照片。原作品海浪是柔和的，显示夜的静谧。
