Wind continue blowing (2023) Painting by Xiao Han

I was born in China in 1982 and currently live in Spain (2021). I studied at Tsinghua University School of Art and Design (China), and after graduation, I worked as a design assistant in a design group and later as a teacher in a high school. While teaching, I was inspired to pick up a paintbrush for the first time.

The debut novel on June 14, 2009 was inspired and affirmed by a letter from Charles Saatchi. In 2014, he was discovered by Rebecca Wilson, chief curator and art development director of the American art platform "Saatchi Online". Currently 96 works have been widely collected by collectors from the United States, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, Greece, Australia, Switzerland, Canada, Portugal, Nigeria and Brazil.

The main themes I pursue include conflicts in life, confrontation with strange shapes in social environments, and contradictions behind reality. I paint a series of portrait subjects, including my lover, friend, mother, animal, model, student or myself.
