My name is Victoria Boyko, I am a watercolor artist.
I was born in Russia in 1968. Since 2002 I live with my family in Germany.
I have worked for many years as a social worker with mentally ill and severely traumatized people. The emotional burden associated with this work takes a lot of strength and sometimes keeps me busy. I try to find a way out of shadows in nature. It gives me strength, fills me with glimmers of hope and joy. I am attracted to atmospheric landscapes. Spiritualized nature, full of complex and rich inner life corresponds to the mood of a person. When I started painting the landscapes, I discovered a special and wonderful view of nature. Now I want to penetrate to the essence and notice and appreciate the small things.
As a child I won some painting competitions. I worked as a history teacher. In my adopted country, in Germany I became a social worker. Now I have found a way to painting. I try to share in my paintings rediscovered meaning and joy in life with other people.
