Là il s'agit d'une vertèbre de mouton que j'affectionne particulièrement. Le travail de peinture et de collage m'inspire beaucoup.
Donc j'ai traité une série de montages insolites et complètement improbables d'os avec des champignons ou des minéraux, enfin ce qui m'interpelle sur l'instant.
Le support devient lui aussi le prolongement de ma création avec un travail de graphisme.
Depuis des années je fonctionne avec une inspiration liée à mon lieu de vie. J'utilise et je recolte des matériaux naturels et je decoupe, je colle, j'imbrique et j'assemble pour créer mon propre univers.
J'ai vécu à Saint Brevin les pins sur la côte Atlantique. J'ai durant mes promenades récupérer des coquillages ou des bois flottés etc. Les grands espaces m'ont toujours fascinés. Je dessinais souvent car c'était pour moi un moyen de m'évader. Entrer aux beaux arts à Nantes me semblait naturel. Je me spécialise dans la sculpture textile. Je récupère de vieux bouts sur les quais de Saint Nazaire. Je crochète, je noue et je compose dans l'espace en jouant avec les pleins et vides. Je passe mon diplôme et je part à Paris travailler chez un artiste connu dans le monde de l'art textile, Daniel Graffin.
La capitale ne me convient pas et je vais m'installer dans le Cantal. Là je retrouve le silence, 'les grands espaces et une nature authentique. Je crée et j' expose un peu partout tout en enseignant les arts plastiques. Je suis désormais plus tranquille et je reprends plus intensément le travail artistique.
