What is metaphysical art?
If I have to borrow the description from the art critics... it sounds like this: " dream-like views of eerie arcaded squares with unexpected juxtapositions of objects" and so on.
For me, it is that ability to give a visual representation of our dream world, the one that does not exist, that peases us and bothers us, and always exites us, because it is different. Since I can't go on a trip, take out the easel and paint it "en plain air", I have to rely on my curiosity and imagination.
The artworks in this collection are created with digital tools. Some have started their life as a drawings on a digital canvas, others have been inspired by my own traditional works or by a random photograph, and some are born out of... thin air. They all have been created with the use of several cutting age tools for digital drawing and manipulation. My goal was simple - surprise myself first, then try to offer an aesthetically pleasing experience to those who are curious enough to stare at them for a minute or two.

Biography

Painting is a natural expression of his eclectic personality.
With an electrical engineering degree and a diploma in journalism, his early interest in art was a little unusual - he was fascinated by the power of personal computers and their promising application in visual arts. In the 90s, he founded the "Bulgarian Society of Computer Art" and participated in various art forums in Bulgaria, Poland, Hungary, and Austria. Later, he wrote the script for a documentary, "Computers and Arts," and was part of a TV series, "Electronic House," exploring the future of digital arts. In 1990, he attended the prestigious "International Festival of Computer Animation" in Montreal and delivered a keynote speech on the aesthetics of computer art.
Contrary to his early interest in digital arts, his paintings are rather traditional—painted with oil or acrylic on canvas. As a firm believer that "curiosity feeds the talent," he is not stuck in one style or one theme. He is equally happy to work on a landscape, a portrait, or an abstract composition combining different techniques. He has also been experimenting with the most advanced digital tools, including artificial intelligence to explore new visual ideas.

Art For The Heart
ART FOR THE HEART is an online charitable auction. It is my personal expression of gratitude and appreciation to the outstanding cardiologists and nurses who work tirelessly to save lives around the globe.
The auction presents 50 original digital artworks created by myself. You would find landscapes and abstract compositions that could complement any well-appointed room. Some figurative works are intended to provoke the mind and invite contemplation. Please take your time to browse around.

Conversations...
During the last few months, I have been studying the style and the technique of some of the pillars of modern art, like Juan Miro, Vassili Kandinsky, and Victor Vasarely. I used sophisticated software with artificial intelligence to derive some sort of an "essence" of their art. Then I used synthesized elements of their style to find new form compositions and color combinations that fit my artistic personality.
"Conversation with Miro 1" is one of the first works I created and painted. A few more paintings with the word "Conversation" in the title of the artwork will be offered within the next few days... Yes, these are very real paintings that you can hang on your wall... Check regularly for new art.

Collaboration with Kevin Page
I am very happy to be offered the opportunity to participate in that project - creating a micro-length film using artificial intelligence and modern digital tools. This is a new frontier in the field of visual arts and I am curious to see where it leads.
Kevin Page is a 35-year veteran in the movie-making industry and participated in popular movies like "Seinfeld" and "Robocop". Our project is called Her Burning Imagination. The visual part is made by myself, the soundtrack was composed and performed by Kevin Page.

Transitioning to the digital art world...
I have been spending more and more time lately creating digital art. In addition to some pure abstract pieces, I have also made some captivating video clips.
