Sergej Luzewitsch was born in 1968 in Belarus, in Minsk. His passion for art took root at a young age, as he received artistic training from childhood, joining a school for gifted children in Minsk. It was there that he was introduced to various techniques such as drawing, painting and sculpture.
After his studies, Sergej headed to Bobruisk, also in Belarus, where he deepened his ceramic skills, a logical evolution of his artistic training. In 1986 he moved to Germany, where he now resides and established his studio in Frankfurt (Oder).
Sergej Luzewitsch is primarily known for his meticulous and detailed work, showcasing character and expression through his works. It focuses primarily on figurative representation, with particular attention to the female form. Inspired by masters such as Michelangelo, he seeks to explore the beauty and complexity of the human figure through his drawings and paintings.
Using primarily pastel, charcoal and watercolor on paper, Sergej creates works that capture the essence of his subjects with emotional depth and technical finesse. His work reflects his passion for art and his dedication to capturing truth and beauty in every line and stroke.
