"Sunshine Whispers" is a watercolor painting in an abstract style, capturing the delicate interplay of sunlight filtering through the cascading leaves of a weeping willow tree. I was influenced by the beauty of nature and its ever-changing patterns of light and shadow. My goal was to sought to convey a sense of tranquility, mystery, and introspection through this piece.
Hope the play of light, the gentle rustling of the leaves, and the dancing shadows evoke a sense of calmness and invite viewers to reflect upon the transitory nature of life.
Watercolor, with its fluidity, transparency, and unpredictable nature, was chosen as the medium to capture the ethereal essence of the scene. The granulating watercolor pigments used in the painting further enhance the textural quality, lending a subtle yet captivating visual effect.
The abstract style of the painting allows for a departure from literal representation, encouraging viewers to embrace their own interpretations and emotional responses. By avoiding detailed realism, I provide space for imagination to wander, fostering a deeper engagement with the painting's underlying themes.

Watercolor

Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It's a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.

Technic Painting

Painting is an art form of painting on a surface by aesthetically applying colored fluids. Painters represent a very personal expression on supports such as paper, rock, canvas, wood, bark, glass, concrete and many other substrates. Work of representation or invention, painting can be naturalistic and figurative, or abstract. It can have narrative, descriptive, symbolic, spiritual, or philosophical content.

My paintings are stories: impressions from incredible journeys to new countries, nostalgic memories from my childhood, happy evenings in the city center, or funny moments with my lovely cat that makes me laugh all the time. I paint when I feel happy, relaxed, calm and inspired and I believe you can feel it through my paintings and live through my happy moments with me. I want you to remember your incredible journeys, your lovely cat, and your evenings in the countryside when you are looking at my paintings so my memories will no longer be just mine, but ours.

I am inspired almost all of the time because I find our world a really beautiful place. This is why I cannot stop painting. I always feel an urge to share my perception with the viewer.

I have tried a lot of mediums but prefer watercolor because one never controls it but one must always work with it. I find it really interesting - observing watercolor effects. I love watercolor’s transparency, smooth shapes, and bright colors. The most comfortable painting size for me is 38x56 cm - enough to express my feelings.

The main subject of my paintings is nature - forest, mountains, sea, sky, flowers. Fairly often it is something I have just experienced - a snowy forest after a frosty weekend in the mountains or first flowers after a walk in early Spring.

I participated in different competitions and international watercolor exhibitions including FabrianoInAcquarello 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 (Italy), International Youth Watercolor Festival – Plovdiv (Bulgaria), 1st OLYMPIART 2019 (India), Watercolor with love 2021 (Russia), Open Art Fest 2021 (Prague, Czech Republic), 3rd International Watercolor Society India Biennale 2022 (India).
