I have always enjoyed drawing. Very young, I started by perfecting my line by taking watercolor lessons with an artist for several years.
Lover of the human body, I have made it my main theme in my drawings and paintings. At first in charcoal with live models, then drawing inspiration from paintings by masters or Renaissance sculptures...
Student of painters Stefan Beiu and Victor Grusvan, I discovered the pleasure of the brush on canvas and oil paint.
Realization of red chalk or charcoal drawings and figurative oil paintings very strongly influenced by the techniques of the great masters of the Renaissance, Romanticism or Baroque such as Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Delacroix or de La Tour but also contemporary artists such as Stefan Beiu or Roberto Ferri.
My painting is sober, rather dark in tone with more or less present chiaroscuros and a work of draped. It essentially features one or more characters.
The contrasts of shadow and light that accentuate often melancholic or even dramatic atmospheres. The freedom of the touch reveals the gestures of the brush, drips or more vigorous brush strokes in places.
Sculptor: creation of sculptures in paper and newspapers. A nurse by profession in a psychiatric environment, I co-host full-time a creative occupational therapy and art therapy workshop specializing in the use of paper. The sculptures on this site are therefore made with the active participation of my patients.
