Son Huynh Lam

Son Lam is a contemporary Vietnamese painter. In the early stages of his career, he focused on classicist oil painting to improve his technique and convey his own artistic voice for remembering something old, something born in the past but still alive now. Today, though, he desires something that is more fun, independent, and filled with more destruction and rebirth as well as poetry and nostalgia. Undoubtedly, abstraction opens the door to liberating and expressing those beauties.

Son Lam was born in 1964, in Vietnam, where he graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts.
