Simtoc draws first to tell wonderful stories. At 50, he remains attentive to his heart, to his inner child. Self-taught, he draws by intuition... it is a vital need and, sometimes, drawing literally comes to him. He lets himself be inhabited by the images, by the emotions they carry and it is the great adventure... always invigorating and constantly renewed. So who is Simtoc? Exactly what he draws!

It was quite early, with his family, that he started watercoloring. His mother said “you are what you see, become it in consciousness and draw with your heart”. For a long time he only painted landscapes... As a teenager, he painted on the walls of his town, hence his artist name. He has always been a fan of comics, science fiction and fantasy stories, convinced of the existence of other worlds. And desperately looking for a way to get there...   

In 1994, he had the privilege of spending 1 hour, alone, with Moebius (Jean Giraud) during the Chambéry Comics Festival and it turned his life upside down. perception of life. It is one of his artistic references.

In 2003, he opened up to spirituality, the discovery of the Self and above all to the perception of other dimensions. Since then he has explored his inner worlds with the keys of sacred books, alchemy, Tarot, symbols and sacred geometry. This is what he tries to “bring down” into matter. Since then, his works have been marked by this reliance on the invisible, some speak of transcendence...

In 2018, it clicked. Reading the manuscript of 'Child of the Source' by Lucile Paul-Chevance brings out compelling images within him. He has to paint them. An injunction! For 20 nights in a row, he illustrates history. The book is a success and even if the illustrated edition project did not see the light of day, the main thing is the confidence acquired: in his hands, in his heart, in his sensitivity, in his art. Since then he is no longer afraid to show himself as an artist! When life has a plan, its paths are unexpected! Indeed, 2 years later, his cousin, Marie Christine Pereira, asked him to illustrate a story 'Mia and the Song of her Heart'. This project is coming to fruition. Self-published, it found its audience with 600 copies sold.

In 2020, he became a professional artist and in a few months, he set up his painting studio and broadcast on social networks. The feedback is enthusiastic. His creativity overflows. He offers individualized support through vibratory paintings in connection with the soul.

In 2023, he began to exhibit and was invited among 40 artists from several countries to the first National Exhibition of France. Vibratory Art near Montpellier, organized by Muriel Chaplain.
