Sabrina Stea is an Italian artist, photographer and painter, whose world has always been filled with images. From an early age she wrote and drew, exploring a world of fantasy filled with dreamlike, velvety and evanescent imagery.
Although late in her professional career as a photographer, Sabrina's passion for photography was born very early. At the age of ten, she received a Kodak Instamatic as a gift for her communion. For a long time, she continues to write and paint while taking pictures only on specific occasions, because film is expensive.
Sabrina is fascinated by unexplored places, seeking in them the sensation of what has not been captured or simply abandoned. In people's faces, she looks for what is not said, the shade of color that appears in the eyes when you think you are not seen.
Her love for writing that accompanied her in her youth translated into a marked passion for street photography and storytelling. Her love for painting led her to seek, through still life photography, an increasingly pictorial and dense style in emphatic colors, creating a constant alternation between static and dynamic photography.
