Hello. My name is Rita Tsemkalo. I live in Minsk, I really like to paint oil paintings, and also paint interior items in traditional ancient Russian styles (Ural-Siberian, Volkhov, St. Petersburg, Khokhloma painting). My favorite medium is to paint flowers, but I also like to paint landscapes and still lifes. I am inspired by our nature, contemplation of it sometimes turns into reflections on the fragility and ephemerality of beauty and life, as well as on the divine nature of art. In my paintings I want to once again convey to everyone the idea that we borrowed our nature from our ancestors and must carefully pass it on to our children and grandchildren. My beloved husband and my beloved children became my assistants in my work. With my creativity I want to bring joy to myself and people. I hope my paintings will lift your spirits and inspire you to be creative.
