Inspiracją do pierwszych prac - jak widzę- musiała być podświadomie ogólnie pojęta biologia, a konkretnie struktury komórkowe i organelle.
Pierre Koodini is a contemporary Polish sculptor. In the pursuit of a new creative endeavor, he ventured into the world of incense production, crafting unique blends from a medley of natural ingredients such as humus, flowers, fruits, spices, and resins. These aromatic creations bore the name "Conceptio," a testament to his innovative spirit.
However, Pierre's path took an unexpected turn. Over the course of a few months, his passion for incense waned as he found himself irresistibly drawn to the tactile world of clay and porcelain. His fascination with these materials ignited a new artistic direction, prompting him to shift his focus from incense production to sculpting.
Pierre's artistic inspiration initially stemmed from his deep-seated interest in biology, particularly in the intricate structures of cells and their organelles. Drawing from years of experience in organic food production and his extensive knowledge of biochemistry, he channeled his unique perspective into his artistic creations.
Beyond his artistic pursuits, Pierre Koodini leads a fulfilling life as a dedicated father of three children, accompanied by two dogs and two cats, which further enrich his world. Remarkably, Pierre is entirely self-taught in the realm of art. While he dabbled in various forms of creative expression, including drawing, acrylic painting, and even experimenting with oil paints, it was his recent foray into working with clay that revealed his true calling.
