The rooster, as a symbol, has a rich history of symbolism and cultural significance. In many cultures, the rooster is associated with qualities such as strength, courage, protection, and vigilance. Its vibrant plumage and loud crow symbolize bravery and presence.
In the context of family and home, the rooster can embody a guardian or protector. It serves as a symbol of awakening, like an alarm clock that brings in a new day and fresh energy into the home. In this context, the rooster in the painting can symbolize awakening, new beginnings, and the energy present within the home.
The rooster also holds cultural values and associations in different countries and regions of the world. For example, in some cultures, the rooster is associated with religious or mythological beliefs related to protection from evil or foretelling future events.
In Petro Boyko's art, the vibrant bird-rooster becomes the focal point, attracting the viewer with its vivid colors and expressiveness. It evokes associations with energy, protection, and vitality, which can be significant aspects in every person's life and home.
