Afin d’appréhender ce tableau il est nécessaire de connaitre le passage du mythe biblique sur la période du règne du roi Nabuchodonosor :
«L’armée Assyrienne arrive aux portes d'Israël et fait le siège d’une ville nommée Bethulie. A bout de ressources, les Béthuliens désespèrent et sont pour cela tancés par la veuve Judith, qui leur reproche leur peu de foi.
Elle décide de se rendre accompagnée d’une servante au camp du général Holopherne en lui faisant croire qu’elle lui apporte de précieuses informations sur la ville. Impressionné par sa beauté et son éloquence, celui-ci accepte de l’écouter et l’invite à un festin dans sa tente. Holopherne boit plus que de raison et, complètement saoul, fait évacuer ses convives pour rester seul avec la belle et séduisante Judith.
Grossière erreur !
Sans la moindre hésitation, Judith s’empare d’un cimeterre et lui tranche la tête. Toutes deux retournent à Béthulie, brandissant la tête du Général ennemi et redonnant espoir à son peuple. Elle prend alors le commandement de la ville et sonne une sortie contre les Assyriens qui sans général sont très vite taillés en pièce.»
La décapitation d'Holopherne par Judith a inspiré plusieurs œuvres d'art dues à des grands artistes tels que :
Botticelli, Mantegna, Giorgione, Lucas Cranach, Titien, Artemisia Rubens, Klimt … et le célèbre Caravage dont le tableau de 195x145 cm exposé à Rome est l’un des plus connus.
Mon tableau s’inspire, très modestement, de ce dernier en reprenant la disposition mais avec des personnages différents

Over the years, I have had the chance to take lessons from talented teachers and participate in numerous exhibitions, which has helped to refine my artistic style.

What makes my works unique is the addition of electrical and electronic components such as motors, gears or LEDs. These elements, powered by batteries or USB cables, bring a dynamic and interactive dimension to my paintings. In addition, each table is accompanied by a detailed electronic diagram, allowing easy replacement of components if necessary.

My tables are made on canvas frames, offering a classic presentation, or on wood for my electronic creations and protected from dust by a Plexiglas window.
