Oleg Novaiev is a contemporary Ukrainian sculptor. Novaiev uses wood, bronze, and new composite materials in his work. He is the author of works that decorate the city of Odessa. These include, in particular, the monument to the architect Henrikh Topuz on Pushkinska, the monument to the scientist and zoo founder Henrikh Beisert, and the sculpture "Young Utyosov" in the courtyard of the apartment-museum where the renowned singer was born. Additionally, there is "Bankirchik'' close to the Opera House in Odessa, as well as "Forgotten Toy" close to the Shah Palace on Zhvanetsky (Arts) Boulevard.
Since 1990, Novaiev has participated regularly in regional, national, and international exhibitions. As a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1993, he also takes part in all sculpture triennials.
