Pierre Duquoc is een fotograaf die aangetrokken wordt door montage, speciale effecten, de kunst om te maken wat niet echt is, om vensters op de verbeelding te openen. Zijn eerste werken bleven verankerd in de realiteit, dankzij digitale tools oriënteerde hij zijn werk snel op fotomontage.
De fotoreeksen van de “Minipéripéties” zijn bedoeld als snapshots met absurde humor, vaak een weergave van levensechte situaties.
Pierre Duquoc is een autodidactische kunstenaar, hij woont en werkt in Athis-Mons (Frankrijk). Hij nam deel aan tal van tentoonstellingen. Zijn serie "Les Minipéripéties", die bij verschillende gelegenheden werd tentoongesteld, leverde hem een nominatie op voor de Arcimboldo-prijs 2011 georganiseerd door de vereniging "Gens Image" en de stichting "Swiss Life".
