Nicole Lemieux is a contemporary French sculptor. Working with this ceramics has allowed her to create numerous sculptures. For her, the possibilities of this material are limitless. Ecology, enlightenment through reading, genetics, and other themes have been addressed. Terracotta is her preferred material. Stainless steel, copper, glass, wood, acrylic, have been added over the years.
Nicole Lemieux was born in 1944, in France, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, as well as in Art History. She lives and works in Canada.
