Nema Seidel is a digital artist and photographer living and working in Tübingen. His artistic journey is marked by a diversity of experiences and skills.

She studied architecture in Stuttgart, which allowed her to develop a particular sensitivity for form, space and composition. Subsequently, she specialized in figurative art, studying with Johannes Uhl in Berlin. His academic training in architecture and figurative art laid the foundation for his unique artistic approach.

Nema Seidel has also worked as an architect and urban planner, notably for GTZ (Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit), where she was involved in school construction and educational planning projects abroad, notably in Bangkok, Hanoi and Papua New Guinea.

As director of the Raumhoch gallery in Tübingen, she regularly organizes group exhibitions highlighting her own artistic projects as well as works by other talented artists. She focuses primarily on large-scale painting, using varied techniques such as acrylic on canvas and creating by mixing different materials including acrylic and plastic.

Over the past ten years, Nema Seidel has also immersed herself in the field of digital art. His current project, entitled "bluebird-street", was born from a mystical encounter with a blue bird which became his deep source of inspiration. This project transforms the streets and walls of fictional cities into canvases for urban art, featuring the famous blue bird in various forms and situations. Its presence gives urban landscapes a mysterious and magical atmosphere.

Another key element of this project is the olive tree, a mystical symbol which appears regularly in his works. The olive tree represents immortality and wisdom.

“Bluebird-Street” is not only a form of visual artistic expression, it is also a message about the connection between the natural world and urban reality. This project reminds us that even in the heart of urban hustle and bustle, there is room for magic and inspiration when we open ourselves to the beauty of nature and the mysteries of life.
