The works from the Invasion series, which was launched before the full-scale war in Ukraine, have received their sensual continuation in a symbolic combination of patriotic blue and yellow colors and the artist's characteristic technique.
Independence refers to the symbols of the nation, which are encoded in ornamental colors. The author presented a complex code of spiritual identification in a clear, concise and balanced manner. What is the price of freedom? The war in Ukraine is a litmus test for the entire democratic world. The much-desired victory is perceived as a light in the midst of pitch darkness, but its other side is bloody. In turn, the shape of a regularsquare acquires a symbolic meaning.
At the same time, it is worth paying attention to the Repletion diptych, which does not guide the viewer in a terminological labyrinth, but is a holistic perceptual expression of the analyzed experience.
The exposition of the creative Invasion series by Nazar Symotiuk is a vivid conceptualization of the problems of our time. We are presented with a visual anthem of Ukrainian identity, history, and indestructibility.

Nazar Symotiuk, a contemporary Ukrainian artist, has made significant strides in his exploration of abstract wood plastic, unearthing new pictorial and visual possibilities within this traditional medium. Drawing inspiration from impressionism, pointillism, and optical art, Symotiuk adeptly synthesizes these influences to create captivating works that push the boundaries of artistic expression.

Op art emerges as a central focus in Symotiuk's oeuvre, offering a fertile ground for the realization of his creative visions. Through three-dimensional compositions, he seamlessly blends the minimalism of geometric shapes with vibrant color contrasts, thereby amplifying the emotional impact on the viewer.

Educated at the Lviv National Academy of Arts, with a specialization in the Department of Artwood, Symotiuk now serves as a teacher within the same department. His expertise spans both sculpture and painting, allowing him to explore diverse avenues of artistic expression with proficiency and finesse.

Symotiuk's artworks have garnered international acclaim, finding homes in private collections across the globe, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Australia, and Taiwan.
