Narek Qochunts, born on May 21, 1988, in Goris, Armenia, embarked on his artistic journey at a young age. From 1996 to 2001, he honed his skills at the local art school, followed by further education at the art school of fine arts in his hometown from 1997 to 2002. His formal artistic training continued at the Department of Painting of the State College of Fine Arts after P.Terlemezyan from 2003 to 2010.

Throughout his academic years, Narek actively participated in exhibitions, showcasing his talent and dedication to his craft. Notably, he received recognition from the Ministry of Education and Science for his illustrations of the epic tale "Sasuntsi Davit," a testament to his artistic prowess and commitment.

Drawing inspiration from photography, sculpture, architecture, and fashion, Narek Qochunts's artistic style defies traditional boundaries. Emphasizing movement, dynamics, and variety, he explores a diverse range of techniques and disciplines, refusing to confine himself to any one medium.

Texture plays a significant role in Qochunts's work, with a preference for oils on canvas allowing him to create rich, tactile surfaces that invite viewers to engage with his art on a sensory level.

Narek's artworks have transcended borders, finding homes in collections around the world, including Barcelona, Boston, London, Moscow, Lebanon, and Armenia. Some of his pieces are prominently displayed at the "West London Art Factory" gallery in London, UK, further cementing his status as a globally recognized artist with a profound impact on the contemporary art scene.
