Nadya Louafi is a contemporary French sculptor. For the past thirty years, sculpture has been a part of her life. Her universe inspires her sculptures, which range from clay to bronze.

She works without a model, she feels an attitude that her hands will seek in the inertia of the earth. She sometimes gets the impression that the earth has its own will and drives her to travel places she hadn't considered. It is a battle against gravity, this force that pulls everything down, a search for balance.
