From a very young age, and from the moment I discovered the pencil, I had the impression of having in my hands a magical tool which became my best friend throughout my childhood. After my baccalaureate, I was admitted to the School of Graphic and Decorative Art in Tehran. The teaching at this school did not satisfy me, so I took the competitive exam at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, which I passed successfully. A year later, my desire to learn was such that I decided to live my dream and go to Paris. I arrived in Paris in September 1979 when Iran was in the midst of political upheaval. My first goal was to learn French. The second to prepare for the competition for the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. I passed the competition and five years later, I obtained my drawing diploma with honors. Attracted by lithography and screen printing, I practiced these techniques for two years in Abraham Hadad’s workshops. I then wanted to complete my training by studying the theoretical aspects of Art and I enrolled at the Sorbonne in Plastic Arts...
