The sacred books mention that the world has been created very diverse and we ourselves people live in different nations, although in essence the values of good and evil are similar. Nationality or nationality determines our traditions, some habits, and sometimes the type of activity I must say that I am categorically against castes, as in India, where individual rights are oppressed and a person cannot break out of a vicious circle. But I am for preserving my identity, for a person to remember his roots, to know where he came from in this world. That behind him are generations of his ancestors who carried certain values into the world. Although now the borders are open and we can live anywhere in the world and be a citizen of another state, we must remember and pass on these traditions and knowledge to the next generations. In the picture with our traditional pattern on a blue background, I depicted the letters of the alphabet of Caucasian Albania. The letters seem to go as a background as a basis, but they are not clearly depicted, because writing has been lost. Only thanks to scientists, it is possible to judge the meanings of these symbols. Caucasian Albania is a state that has been wiped off the face of the earth for many hundreds of years, but we are descendants of that people, we have preserved something from those generations: the language, part of the traditions, but unfortunately, we could not preserve the written language...this is my tribute to my ancestors.

ARTIST STATEMENT
I was born in a place and time that had strong racist and nationalist sentiments.
All my childhood I tried to hide my origin, fearing aggression from children.
Under the influence of society, I left my work, which always dealt with ethical topics.
After many years, I returned to creativity, already in adulthood. Now I am protesting to a society that has prejudices and judgments that violate the rights of national minorities.
My credo in life is not to deceive yourself, not to forget who he was born and to carry his cultural code.
I love history and material heritage. very often I compare my childhood
memories with emotions, thus the plot of my works arises. From time to time I
immerse myself in my childhood memories and feel the emotions that I experienced as a
child. But now my life experience is already superimposed on it, and these memories
take on new outlines, which form the basis of the plot of my works.
Carpet weaving inspires me especially.
carpet weaving. I feel the feminine essence of my
grandmothers and great-grandmothers reviving in me. After all, just like my mother, they were all engaged in this craft.
The carpet-weaving ritual always sends my thoughts back to my distant childhood and transports me to the land of my ancestors,
like an instant wind. Unlike my ancestors, I "weave" carpets using canvas and a brush.
In my "carpets", which will bring an
authentic twist to any modern interior, I combine traditional
artistic materials with new ones. A peculiar connection of generations on canvas, in which both classical oil and practical acrylic are found.
In my works, you can see a collective image of a Caucasian girl of the past years, which reflects the traditions, character and mentality of that time to the viewer. Through the prism of modernity, where the boundaries of what is permissible and forbidden are erased, in
a world where there are no duties, but only rights, this girl, like a fragile delicate flower
, makes her way to life, through the cold stone jungle of technological cities.
Popularizing the art of the ancient people of the Caucasus, I want to remind people of their roots, not
only those from the Caucasus, but everyone. In the modern progressive world, where the boundaries of
cultures and religions are being erased, it is necessary to preserve its authenticity. Your nationality is yours
uniqueness, not a disadvantage!
