Born in  the vibrant artistic milieu of Poland in 1962, he embarked on a lifelong journey of creative exploration.  His passion for led to pursue an MA from the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 1987.  Today he is recognised as a versatile artist, proficient in painting, drawing, printmaking, and graphic design.

Since making the UK his home in 1996, he left am indelible mark on its artistic landscape. From 2002 to 2013 he served as the Artist in Residence at London’s Regent’s Park.  Presently he his honoured to collaborate with the National Trust as their designated artist for the South East region, where he continues to celebrate the beauty of nature through his art.

His artistic depictions of nature were commended by numerous awards, including, in the 2006 – Main Price Winner and editor’s choice of ‘The Artist Magazine’.  Other prizes include: Windsor & Newton, Pro Arte, Caran D’ache and Royal Talens.  In 2006, he was awarded the main prize from Nina Hosali's "Free Painters and Sculptors". In 2000, he received an award for "Best Capturing the Spirit of Holland Park". In the English galleries with which he has been cooperating for years, he has been chosen artist of the year several times.

For a number of years he has also been pioneering art/music projects, where he paints large friezes that create additional dimensions to classical music.  Noteworthy is his monumental 22-metre frieze, entitled ‘Four Seasons, Four Stages of Life’ as a visual ode to Vivaldi’s timeless music.  Collaborating with esteemed orchestras like the Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra ‘Amadeus’, he continues to blur the lines between visual and auditory stimuli, enriching classical performances with immersive visual experiences.  Apart from the above, he also created an artistic interpretation to Piazzolla’s version of the ‘Four Seasons’, a Chopin’s triptych, as well as a series of large paintings to the Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures from an Exhibition’. In 2017 he painted interpretation of "Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge" by B. Britten (1.5 m x 8 m), which was presented in 2018 as part of the 50th anniversary concert of the 'Amadeus' orchestra together with the soloist Mischa Maisky. In 2021, after listening to a concert at the opening of his father's memorial hall in his hometown of Chełmno, he was inspired by Lev Knipper's song 'Iranian Suite' performed by Amadeus and also painted a triptych measuring 1.5 x 5.1 m. to this music

He also paints portraits - he was, among others, the portraitist of the Olsen family (owners of Fred Olsen Cruise Liners).

He had over 300 exhibitions, including over 100 solo.
