As a child, I had a favorite pastime: I found familiar images of people, animals, or fairy-tale creatures in patterns on a wall plaster, tile, or other surface. These images became my friends and I came up with interesting stories that could happen to them. This artwork series is made on the same principle: mysterious portraits of people hidden in an abstract painting. This is something you won't see at the first glance.
▶ARTWORK INSPIRATION
I saw the image of an African woman almost immediately in abstract spots made in advance. I thought that it would be the Queen of the Night or an African Queen and added a few strokes to make the image more noticeable. Try to guess it in the picture! Once you have noticed it, you won't lose it anymore. The artwork can be hung in any direction, which you like more. Let the portrait of an African woman be our little secret...

▶CREATION PROCESS
The freedom and spontaneity guide me in my art painting process. Nature is my main inspiration. I have no clear plan or sketch to strive for. I don't really know what exactly the finished artwork will look like. The finished painting is always a revelation, a combination of an intuitive understanding of color and composition. Each painting is unique and inimitable.
▶ART PAINTING TECHNIQUE
I used an unusual combination of acrylic and glass paint to create this artwork. In the first stage, I make a stamp with glass paints on canvas. In the second stage, I make the texture with acrylic paints and paint over abstract spots to obtain an expressive composition. This artwork combines tiny-painted details with volumetric textured palette knife strokes.
