Marieke Janssen makes idiosyncratic drawings that are moving, timeless and eccentric. She draws without thinking and throws what she sees on a page. The lines and spots come thoughtlessly straight from her heart.
She reflects unapologetically with a nonchalant, spontaneous pen.
Marieke's children's book 'Klaas and the lonely knee-sock' was published at Skribis. The booklet costs 16 euros, of which 8 euros goes to A heart for refugees and 8 euros to Villa Voortman.
