Douceur et tendresse sont les deux mamelles de l’attachement qui, à son tour, engendre l’amour. À la source, l’enfant issu d’un couple aimant est muni d’un bagage pour la vie. Victor Hugo a bien défini l’importance de la famille : « L’amour d’une famille, le centre autour duquel tout gravite et tout brille ». Cette bulle familiale extensible est l’abri, le lieu qui rassure et protège. C’est au nid que les oisillons reçoivent la becquée, la chaleur de leurs proches qui leur permettent de se développer et de faire leurs premières voltiges. Vient ensuite le temps où, bien nantis, ils se sentent assez solides pour tenter quelques aventures et prendre de l’indépendance avec assurance.
Mais la famille est toujours là, même si certains s’éloignent et coupent parfois les ponts. L’enfant prodigue revient après avoir fait les quatre cents coups parce qu’il se doute bien que son père l’accueillera…et encore mieux qu’il le prévoyait, car il l’accueillera sans condition. Comme le dit Robert Choquette : “Si la liberté grise, la famille rassure.” MN.

Having completed my artistic studies at the Superior School of Applied Arts in Paris, over the years, I have revived my resources in my Masters in Plastic Arts Education studies and through my commitment to teaching. I then broadened my means of expression and embarked on sculpture, engraving (etching and screen printing). Then comes the exploration of various processes and materials (including plaster and tissue paper) that led me to use mixed techniques. In recent years and still today, I favor acrylic painting which leaves a lot of freedom, and almost always pastels and various grease pencils add to what acrylic cannot.
