What is the main idea……I think it’s me.
This question I asked myself two years ago. Me, my body, my needs, my mental health. One of the most popular social and media themes now is body-positive.
I experienced this idea from a different angle. Motherhood gave me a new level of physical suffering. I actually refused my body needs. I refused pain, traumas, personal space. Is fact my body was some kid of a bed for the baby. Recently I understood that I need to find a way to get back to myself. I need a new links between my mind and my body.
I choose a meditative sculpture practice and began to create my new body with children’s wax plasticine. The result was incredible, a combination of meditation and sensational impressions of wax plasticine was very healing. Now I’m creating a series of recently given birth woman called Body changing.

My last project is a great opportunity to speak out on the topic of women's rights and misogyny, especially in such a difficult time of conflicts and huge stress. Soft plasticine perfectly illustrates the fragility of the female body, Some of the most defenseless at this moment are women and children.
The project is a part of me, my life. I was completely honest and open, showing my problems. As I wrote above, this practice heals me and I hope it will help other women highlight the problem of accepting themselves and their bodies.
