Margarita Vargas est une artiste Colombienne, qui habite en région Parisienne depuis des années.
La peinture figurative al huile, est pour elle une manière stimulante et intense d’explorer sa propre réalité et celle des autres. Ses oeuvres naissent de l’envie de découvrir la beauté et de dévoiler les mystères de la vie, en mélangent la réalité et la fantaisie.

Elle ne recherche ni transcendance, ni reconnaissance, mais le simple plaisir de peindre. Cet exercice la propulse hors du monde pour la ramener à son propre corps: en peignant elle oublie le monde extérieur. Elle atteint ce lieu de paix intérieure où se synchronisent respiration, battements du cœur et mouvements de la main. Chaque coup de pinceau crée des mélanges de couleurs et de bruit sur la toile.
