Manolo Ruiz Pipo nait à Grenade dont il gardera la lumière.
En 1936, après une enfance heureuse, Ruiz Pipo perd son père, enlevé pendant la guerre d’Espagne, qui ne sera jamais retrouvé.
Il part alors à Barcelone avec son grand père. En 1942 il est reçu à l’école des Arts et Métiers de Barcelone. Il participe rapidement à des salons avec Dali, Picasso, Miro puis il obtient une bourse pour aller étudier à l’école des Beaux Arts de Paris.
Au Louvre, Manolo Ruiz Pipo analyse les œuvres de Georges de La Tour, puis il rencontre Picasso qui se prend d’amitié pour lui et le présente à Jeanne Castel, qui sera sa première galerie Parisienne.
En 1960, le Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris lui achète une œuvre, En 1966 il part en Italie pendant 10 ans. Entre 1975 et 1978 il vit à Amsterdam où il étudie Rembrandt et Vermeer.
En 1971, il part en Australie et expose à Sidney. A son retour en Europe en 1975, Manolo Ruiz Pipo est devenu peintre consacré.

Manolo Ruiz Pipo was born in Granada from which he will keep the light.
In 1936, after a happy childhood, Ruiz Pipo lost his father, kidnapped during the Spanish Civil War, who will never be found.
He then left for Barcelona with his grandfather. In 1942 he was admitted to the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. He quickly participated in salons with Dali, Picasso, Miro and then obtained a scholarship to study at the School of Fine Arts in Paris.
At the Louvre, Manolo Ruiz Pipo analyzes the works of Georges de La Tour, then he met Picasso who befriended him and introduced him to Jeanne Castel, who would be his first Parisian gallery.
In 1960, the Museum of Modern Art in Paris bought him a work , In 1966 he left for Italy for 10 years. Between 1975 and 1978 he lived in Amsterdam where he studied Rembrandt and Vermeer.
In 1971, he left for Australia and exhibited in Sidney. On his return to Europe in 1975, Manolo Ruiz Pipo became a consecrated painter.
