"Emoção, tensão, alívio" é um trabalho com uma expressão única que ganhou vida durante a minha primeira pintura ao vivo.
Com uma paleta de azuis, explorei emoções através de gestos dinâmicos, ora contraídos na zona densa, ora livres na zona clara, contando uma história visual complexa. Durante a execução, optei por usar uma máscara, o que me proporcionou o isolamento necessário para a criação. Embora a máscara não esteja presente no trabalho final, acrescenta uma dimensão simbólica, sugerindo uma transformação oculta e realçando a singularidade da minha abordagem.
A composição revela uma zona mais densa na base, com tons mais escuros, contrastando com uma expansão luminosa no topo. Esta dicotomia visual não só enriquece a obra, como também reflete a minha própria evolução emocional durante o processo criativo.

Luís Bastos, born in Elvas on March 2, 1975 and currently residing in the charming village of Sesimbra since his early days, is a notable Portuguese artist whose works transcend the conventional boundaries of art. Luís Bastos states with conviction that art not only transformed his life, but also represents the beginning of a journey that aims to recreate not only what is visible, but, above all, what one feels, therefore, as he poignantly puts it : "The essential is invisible to the eyes."
