Ovidiu Kloska, a technician, does not allow his profession to come out to light. His presence is perfectly shaped and he is open to substantial and unconventional dialogue. He is a painter and a poet in the same time. From another point of view, the rationalism implied by engineering can be found only when navigating the internet and signing his e mails with the exciting formula I AM KLOSKA.
On the rest, we are dealing with a free spirit, open towards the sky of fantasy, where the presence of gladiator angels reign over lucid insomnia and the turn into unusual paintings.

Kloska Ovidiu is een hedendaagse Roemeense kunstenaar. Zijn beeldtaal verhoudt zich met dromen, bewusteloosheid, delirium, hallucinatie, met de verandering van vorm en licht, met het spontane, illusie, bizarre, abnormale en normale.
Ovidiu werkt met verschillende media, waaronder schilderkunst, fotografie en beeldhouwkunst. Zijn dramatische acryl op canvas schilderijen doen denken aan magnifieke kunstenaars als John Martin en JMW Turner. Ondertussen zijn zijn ijzeren beeldhouwers abstracte, industriële werken die hij categoriseert als behorend tot de stilistische benaderingen van brutalisme en deconstructivisme.
Kloska Ovidiu werd geboren in 1977 in Roemenië, waar hij afstudeerde aan de University of Arts. Lid van de Roemeense Unie van Professionele Kunstenaars UAP.
