I was inspired to create this art by my deep transformation. With this art, I got a true sense of the war, when it all started, I witnessed how my usual life crumpled up and turned into a hopeless and joyless series of events. In order to continue living, I had to abandon the past and search for new opportunities. The golden gap in the picture, like a breath of freedom, symbolizes this search. The art is made in papier-mache technique with an insert made of textured paste covered with potal. Gold shimmers in the light due to the relief pattern and has a glowing effect.

Size: Ø 15.7 in
Materials: paper, texture paste, acrylic, golden leaf, mdf artboard

* The painting is done on wood artboard using top quality acrylic paints and materials.
* It is ready to hang on the wall. The edges have also been painted, so it is not necessary to frame it.
* Carefully packed: The painting is sent in cardboard boxes wrapped with great care in bubble paper.

Katrin Ka, Emerging artist

Based in Moscow, Born 1988

Among the numerous group exhibitions in which Katrin has participated, it is worth mentioning her involvement in the Tretyakov Gallery, Talents of Russia in Moscow, and the "Russian Artist against War" exhibition in New York.

Katrin Ka is an abstract artist who prefers working with acrylics and oils, often incorporating gold leaf (potall) into her works. Her art is a reflection of her inner state, and through her paintings, she connects with her soul. In the process of creating art, the painting itself comes to life through her hands. For Katrin Ka, creating art is a search for internal meanings and images that help uncover new facets in both her creative work and life.
